Our team consists of ISA Certified Arborists, Horticulturists,  Certified Utility Tree Trimmers, Skilled Labourers and Talented Office Personnel.

David

I'm Edmonton born, but raised in Russia and Ukraine. I Started climbing trees as a child and never stopped!
In 2005, what started as a summer job fighting wildfires while studying agriculture at Lakeland College, turned into a 6-year career in wildfire and forest health management. In 2011, I started a tree service business which is now incorporated as Neighbours Tree Company,
I am currently working towards obtaining the ISA Board Certified Master Arborist certification. My favorite trees is a Weeping Birch.

Kate

Hi! I'm Kate, I immigrated from England in 2005 and have always been fascinated by the arboriculture and nature that we are blessed to be surrounded by here in Canada. I love my role as office manager with Neighbours because of the one-on-one communications I get to have - building those relationships is important to us as a company, and I love being the one setting the tone with it. Sometimes you'll see me stop by job-sites, often with my pup Boca in tow. If this ever happens at your site, please come and say hi!!!

Amanda

Hello I'm a fellow Edmontonian, went to school down in Olds, got a BASC in horticulture, and have been working for neighbours for 3 years now. Previously I worked in the landscape and turf area but found my passion in trees shortly after. My favorite part of my job is hedging! What I like best about Neighbours is the sense of family that our team has. My favorite tree is a Linden. In my spare time I love to hike, camp, spend time with friends, and anything outside

Elijah

Hi my name is Elijah, and I work as a tree climber/groundie for Neighbours Tree Company. This is my second year working for the company and I love it.  I always look forward to coming into work. There are few things I love more than working with trees. Currently I’m working on acquiring my ISA arborist certification in addition to apprenticing as a Landscape horticulturalist.

Grayson

My name is Gray and this is my second season working at neighbours. I kind of fell into this line of work with a background in landscaping and have learned a lot in my short time here including how to climb and care for trees. I enjoy working with our team and going out into the community seeing people & their yards look happy. Catch me monkeying around in your neighbours spruce and gushing over your pets.

Kelsey

Hi, My name is Kelsey! I am a Horticulture Technician out of Olds College and I've been working as an arborist for the past few years. This is my second season with Neighbours, and my goal is to achieve my ISA certification while honing my tree felling and climbing skills. My favorite trees are Mountain Ashes, and I enjoy sharing my plant knowledge with clients and friends alike.

Jimmy

My name is Jimmy and I am a labourer. The team work here is really awesome. Aside from the fantastic team we work with, my favourite part of the job is exploring Edmonton. Each site we visit is a chance to see a different part of the city. I also get to meet new people. Chipping is my favourite part of the work. I am hoping to learn to climb trees in the future.

Colby

My name is Colby and I’m a labourer with Neighbours Tree. I’ve enjoyed my job most because I work with great people, and get lots of exercise. The Team has great communication. I enjoy working outdoors, and I aspire to continue learning about tree and shrub maintenance. I’d like to become an arborist one day. Chipping is currently my favourite part of the job.

Darin

Working outdoors is beneficial for one’s health, I believe. In a similar vein, a tree or shrubs health is improved by maintaining it diligently. My name is Darin, and the most exciting part of the job is when we receive an emergency call, whereupon the problem – Ie: a tree has fallen on a house, has to be solved systematically. Besides work, I enjoy travelling, trekking, and spending time with my family and dog.
